A few people accept that God didn't need Adam and Eve to have the information on great and malice since it would make them as divine beings. The motivation behind this exposition is to show that Adam and Eve caused the defeat of humanity.  Now, to the undeveloped eye, it might be conceivable to decipher the previously mentioned text as having certain scheisty propensities originating from both the snake and, in all honesty, God himself.
